What we do:

When you have concerns regarding your child’s progress, we understand that you want as much information as possible in a short amount of time. Academic Insights can help ensure that clients are performing to the best of their potential by providing data on both strengths and areas for growth. We are uniquely qualified to advise stakeholders on how best to utilize evaluation information to tailor best practices for student success. While districts are governed by timelines that allow several months for testing and reporting and other practices have waitlists months long, our commitment is to keep our queue reasonable and our turn around times short. We only take as many clients as we can serve in a timely manner. We know that when you are concerned about your child, the last thing you want is unnecessary delays in attaining the help you need.

Using a data-driven approach, your child will be supported in gaining skills that he or she needs to really be successful independently. The skills targeted will be individualized for your child but may include tasks such as organization, planning, time management, and self-regulation. Coaching is most often individual, but watch for groups coming soon.

Individualized Materials

A diagnostician and/or psychologist will review your child’s data and your concerns in order to create individualized supports such as social stories, schedules, visuals, and labels for use at home and school.

For parents of students in private school, this can help ensure that your child’s needs are accurately reflected when applying for vouchers for the 26-27 school year.
